UPPER SADDLE RIVER, NJ-Mack-Cali CEO Mitchell Hersh says that the company is seeking counsel from a “institution of higher education” to help with its redevelopment of the Pearson Education complex here.
Hersh in a first quarter earnings call with analysts on Thursday said that the firm and partner Roseland Partners LLC are seeking outside help in their planned conversion of the property into a multi-use development, according to The Record.
"We have advanced plans, we have some interesting multifamily-type-use development concepts for that particular location," Hersh says. "I have personally—along with the Roseland team—been working quite closely with an institution of higher education to potentially work with us on the redevelopment of that site. So there's a good deal happening there."
Pearson plans to vacate its 47-acre campus at the end of 2014. See story in The Record.
