ORLANDO—Smart Warehousing LLC is looking at Orlando and other key markets in the Sunshine State for acquisitions.
The Lenexa, KS-based firm states that it also interested in warehouse/industrial properties in Tampa and Miami as well, according to the Orlando Business Journal.
“We're looking to see if there are some acquisition opportunities,” says Smart Warehousing founder and CEO Carl Wasinger. “We'd like to expand the footprint in Orlando. We're also looking at opening some greenfield sites, where we find a good location, lease a building and get the staff and management hired, and start one customer at a time.”
Smart Warehousing has approximately 600 clients and 5 million square feet of warehouse space in the U.S. and Canada. See story in the Orlando Business Journal.
