BAYTOWN, TX—As reported last week by Globe Street, National Tube Supply, a distributor of carbon and alloy mechanical tubing, has acquired 24 acres at Bay 10 Business Park to develop a 100,000-square-foot distribution facility.

National Tube was represented in the deal by Newmark Grubb Knight Frank.

The master-planned business park spans 220 acres in Baytown, Texas. Conveniently located near major distribution hubs, it is eight miles north of Port of Houston; one mile from a major rail terminal; five miles from the public barges in West Chambers County; and offers direct access to the Grand Parkway and Interstate 10.

National Tube Supply will be the lead tenant in the Phase 2 build-out at Bay 10 Business Park. Slated for delivery near year end, the state-of-the-art facility will augment the company's existing distribution operations in Chicago and Los Angeles as it expands to meet customer needs.

“National Tube Supply is nationally known for its high level of customer service and quality tubing, so it was important to find a site that would facilitate the distribution of their products,” said Rob Stillwell, a Newmark Grubb Knight Frank senior managing director who represented National Tube Supply in the transaction.

“This location will allow us to improve our service capabilities in this region while also serving as in inbound distribution hub to our other existing facilities,” said Gary Chess, president of National Tube Supply.

John Ferruzzo and Darren O'Conor of NAI Houston represented the seller and developer, Parkside Capital, LLC.
