TEANECK, NJ-Two newly create zoning districts here could pave the way for a wave of medical office and health-related businesses to set up shop here.

Local officials say the zone changes approved by the Teaneck Town Council, eliminates restrictions on some building owners to lease space to medical related businesses, according to The Record.

"This move will enhance Holy Name Hospital's operations and provide a convenience for Teaneck residents," says Councilman Elie Y. Katz.

The new zones will permit physicians and other health care professionals, including physical therapists; health-related businesses such as laboratories, medical clinics, surgical facilities and diagnostic testing facilities; and businesses offering educational training and conferences.
