RICHMOND, VA-Although the agency is reportedly looking into his relationship with a campaign donor, Virginia Gov. Robert McDonnell still wants to see the Federal Bureau of Investigation's headquarters located in the state of Virginia.

In an April 30th letter to FBI Director Robert Mueller and Dan Tangherlini, acting administrator for the General Services Administration, the governor pitched that a federally-owned warehouse in Springfield, VA would be the best location for the FBI to consolidate its operations, according to the Washington Post

In the letter, Gov. McDonnell states that because GSA owns the warehouse “the transaction mechanism that guarantees federal government ownership of the campus is both clean and easy.” See story in the Washington Post.
