STAFFORD, VA-JMC Holdings, based in New York, has made its first acquisition in Virginia: 800 Corporate Dr., a 135,732-square foot building owned by Silver Cos. It traded for $40 million.
David Newman of Silver Cos. and Joe Pfahler of Coldwell Banker Elite represented the seller. Kameron Zitelli of Berko & Associates represented the buyer. Cushman and Wakefield will continue to manage the property on behalf of JMC. M&T Bank is providing the debt financing for the transaction.
The building is located in the Quantico Corporate Center here, a business park in which Silver Cos. has been very active. Tenants tend to be major government contractors, such as BAE Systems, Computer Sciences Corporation, Camber Corporation, General Dynamics, MITRE, ManTech International, QinetiQ North America, Science Applications International Corporation and URS Corp. It is located next to the Marine Corps Base Quantico along Interstate 95 and US Route 1.
800 Corporate Drive was build last year and houses the Stafford Technology & Research Center.
