STAFFORD, VA-JMC Holdings, based in New York,has made its first acquisition in Virginia: 800 CorporateDr., a 135,732-square foot building owned bySilver Cos. It traded for $40million.

David Newman of Silver Cos. and JoePfahler of Coldwell Banker Eliterepresented the seller. Kameron Zitelli ofBerko & Associates represented the buyer.Cushman and Wakefield will continue to manage theproperty on behalf of JMC. M&T Bank isproviding the debt financing for the transaction.

The building is located in the Quantico CorporateCenter here, a business park in which Silver Cos. has beenvery active. Tenants tend to be major government contractors, suchas BAE Systems, Computer Sciences Corporation, Camber Corporation,General Dynamics, MITRE, ManTech International, QinetiQ NorthAmerica, Science Applications International Corporation and URSCorp. It is located next to the Marine Corps Base Quantico alongInterstate 95 and US Route 1.
