HOUSTON-Alexander J. Jessett has been appointedto the position of CFO with Camden Property Trust.Jessett succeeds Dennis M. Steen, who is retiringafter a 10-year stint as CFO.

“We are sincerely grateful to Dennis for his valuedcontributions to Camden over the past 14 years,” saysRichard J. Campo, Camden's chairman and CEO in astatement. “On behalf of our Board of Trust Managers and all of ourCamden associates, we wish him the very best in retirement.”

According to a release from Camden. Jessett joined the REIT'sfinance department in 1999, and has served as senior vicepresident-finance and treasurer since 2009. In that role,Jessett was responsible for capital markets activities, corporatefinance, strategic planning, tax compliance, treasury, and cashmanagement.
