While it's definitely agreed that posting on social media is good to raise one's online profile, it is still debateable as to whether there are opportune times at which one should post. Some say let your accounts fall silent at the weekends – no one's online anyway – and others think that a 24/7 social media presence is just as important as having email on your phone.
After all, many people just don't know how to switch off any more, or can't because of pressing work issues.
So to keep up with super-high achievers, it would seem logical that social media posts must occur around the clock, and responses must be timely even at 2 or 3 a.m. Right?
Wrong.
Well, at least according to the below infographic from Social Media Today. Apparently, there are “better” times at which one can share content. Thanks to some helpful analysis, it seems that posting after 8 PM is a waste of time, especially on Twitter and on Facebook. However, posting on LinkedIn in the evening can pass this deadline, for the research indicates that interactions added up to 10 PM will be viewed.
