WASHINGTON, DC-Simpson Property Group LP of Denver has acquired the recently built 14W apartment building for $110 million.
An affiliate of Simpson paid approximately $476,190 per unit for the 231-unit apartment building at 1315 W St. NW from a joint venture of Perseus Realty LLC and the Rockpoint Group LLC. The acquisition is Simpson's first in the DC district. The firm owns the Reserve at Tysons Corner and Zoso Flats in Clarendon.
The deal was announced in April, but no financial details on the transaction were released. The Washington Business Journal reported the purchase price based on DC land records. See story in the Washington Business Journal.
