NAPA VALLEY, CA—Located at the southern entrance to Napa Valley, marked by the historic, 20' high 'Grape Crusher' statue, Napa Valley Commons has undergone a re-branding. Two respected wine industry companies, Spelletich Family Wine Company and JF Hillebrand, USA, Inc. are relocating to Napa Valley Commons after signing leases totaling nearly 23,000 square feet, with a combined value that exceeds $2 million, announced Napa Valley Commons POA board of directors President Kory Kramer.
“The recent upgrades in new landscaping and the rebranding of the park to Napa Valley Commons to better reflect the expanding tenant base that currently includes hospitality, retail and commercial, is resonating with wine-related concerns in the Valley. These two new tenants are indicative of that movement, and we expect that transition to continue as we move forward,” said Kramer.
Spelletich Family Wine Company, a local Napa winery, is moving its operations into 16,180 square feet of space at Napa Valley Commons to fulfill its need for expansion; more than twice the amount of space at its previous location. According to owner, Kristen Spelletich, “We couldn't be more excited about our new location at Napa Valley Commons. We now have a facility zoned for wine production and consumption, allowing us for the first time to have a tasting salon on site. We are now much closer The Meritage Resort & Spa and to other wineries located at the Commons, many of whom are longtime friends.” Glen Dowling, Matt Bracco and Chris Neeb of Cushman & Wakefield of California, Inc. represented both the landlord and tenant.
Founded in 1844, JF Hillebrand, USA, Inc. is a global leader in beverage logistics and is moving into more than 6,700 square feet at Napa Valley Commons to better serves its clients in the region. According to Jakob Hervel of JF Hillebrand, “Napa Valley Commons was our unanimous choice due to the wonderful environment, quality improvements, 12' ceilings and proximity to downtown Napa and Highway 29.” JF Hillebrand was represented by Brooks Pedder and Tony Binswanger of Colliers International, while ownership was represented by Dowling, Bracco and Neeb of Cushman & Wakefield.
Napa Valley Commons, a 246-acre mixed used campus at the southern entrance to Napa Valley, is now home to two resorts, including one of Northern California's largest, The Meritage Resort & Spa, which recently celebrated the opening of a $40 million, 165-room expansion. Other businesses include several wine storage and tasting rooms including Trinitas Cellars, Falcor Winery, Patz & Hall and even an auto museum featuring classic 300SL Mercedes.
