SILVER SPRING, MD-National Labor College President Paula E. Peinovich revealed on Tuesday that the AFL-CIO affiliated institution has inked a tentative agreement to sell its 47-acre White Oak campus.

Peinovich, who declined to provide a sales price, says the deal is with a partnership between Reid Temple African Methodist Episcopal Church and the Housing Opportunities Commission of Montgomery County, according to the Washington Post. The campus has 10 buildings that include dormitories, classrooms, offices and 74,000 square feet of conference space.

“We are very excited that this property, should the sale go through—because it's all very tentative at this point—we're excited that the property would be used by another non-profit, mission-driven organization,” Peinovich said. See story in the Washington Post.
