SAN FRANCISCO-Transwestern has brokered a long-term lease for an additional 13,000 square feet in San Francisco's prestigious Waterfront Plaza to accommodate an additional expansion by Giant Creative/Strategy LLC, a rapidly rising marketing communications agency specializing in the healthcare industry. The added space at 1700 Montgomery Street now makes Giant the Waterfront Plaza's largest tenant, occupying a total of nearly 40,000 square feet.

“Giant Creative/Strategy is a remarkable San Francisco business success story,” said Transwestern SVP Markus Shayeb, lead broker on behalf of Giant. “Less than a decade ago the firm occupied just 4,000 square feet. With two recent office space expansions, the growth mirrors its impact on positioning, branding, strategic communication and creative development for its healthcare clients.”

Built in 1976, Waterfront Plaza is a 297,000-square-foot, four-story office complex close to the downtown San Francisco waterfront within a short walk of Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, North Beach, the Ferry Building and ample transportation options.

Wesley Powell of Jones Lang LaSalle represented the landlord in the transaction.

Founded in 2002, Giant Creative/Strategy is the largest full-service independent healthcare advertising agency on the West Coast, and recently expanded its office space by 6,000 square feet.
