PITTSBURGH—The 34-story Koppers Building on Grant Street and Seventh Avenue in downtown Pittsburgh is on the market for sale.
The 356,439-square-foot art deco building was commissioned by Andrew Melon and completed in the 1920s. CBRE's Gerry Dudley and Ryan Sciullo of its Pittsburgh office are representing the building owner and are marketing the property for sale, according to the Pittsburgh Business Times.
Koppers Inc., a construction materials company, is the anchor tenant in the building that is currently approximately 70% occupied. The building is owned by Koppers Building Holdings Inc., based in Radnor, PA. No list price was included in the CBRE marketing materials. County land records put the building's assessed value at $17 million. See story in the Pittsburgh Business Times.
