SAYREVILLE, NJ-Bass Pro Shops has plans for a 200,000-square-foot location at the proposed $2-billion Luxury Point project here.

The outdoor megastore is the first retailer to announce its tenancy in a 1.2-million-square-foot mall planned as part of Luxury Point that would be built at a 453-acre brownfield adjacent to the Garden State Parkway's Driscoll Bridge, according to the Star Ledger.

Luxury Point, being developed by the O'Neill Properties Group of King of Prussia, PA, is envisioned to have 2,000 apartments and townhomes, office space, hotels, restaurants and two marinas along the Raritan River waterfront. For the past two years O'Neill has been excavating and removing contaminated soil from the site. See story in the Star Ledger.
