MILWAUKEE-The craft and import division of MillerCoors LLC is expanding its presence here, acquiring a warehouse adjacent to its 10th Street brewery.
The craft division, Tenth and Blake Beer Co., has acquired 918 W. Somers St., a 110,000-square-foot former multi-tenant warehouse building that in the past was a bakery for Sara Lee. Tenth and Blake purchased the property from Securant Bank & Trust, according to the Milwaukee Business Journal. No purchase price was reported.
“As demand for our craft and specialty beers continues to increase, this additional space gives us the ability to expand our overall brewing and packaging capacity,” says Tom Cardella, Tenth and Blake president and CEO.
