DETROIT-Load One Transportation plans to build a new 150,000-square-foot headquarters complex at the Detroit Region Aerotropolis near Detroit Metropolitan Airport.
The company will build the $8-million headquarters and logistics center at the Huron Township site that will double the size of its present headquarters in Taylor, according to Crain's Detroit Business.
John Elliott, president and CEO of Load One, said he expects construction to begin next spring on the site located at the southeast corner of Pennsylvania Road and I-275. The relocation is being promoted by a need for more space, parking and warehouse operations to accommodate the company's growth.
"We've had, almost every year since inception (in 2003), about a 20% (revenue) growth rate," Elliott says. See story in Crain's Detroit Business.
