MIAMI—Brickell World Plaza just inked a full-floor lease with law firm Gunster. The firm is taking down the entire 35th floor, which spans 21,355 square feet, at 600 Brickell,

Jones Lang LaSalle exclusively handles the office leasing on behalf of Foram Group, the developer of the class A office tower in the Brickell Financial District. The law firm is relocating its office from One Biscayne Tower in Downtown Miami. Financial terms of the 12-year lease were not disclosed.

After touring the market for new offices for 18 months, Gunster relocated to 600 Brickell because of the tower's technology and infrastructure capabilities, location, and tenant roster. Tenants include Northern Trust, law firm Hogan Lovells, Crédit Agricole Private Banking Miami, Boston Consulting Group, Doral Money Inc., and global mediation and arbitration service provider JAMS.

“We're excited that Gunster is moving its Miami office to the 600 Brickell building. This is the finest office building in Miami and is a prime location in Brickell, the hub of the city's business community,” says H. William 'Bill' Perry, Gunster's managing shareholder. “This move continues to position us as one of Florida's preeminent law firms and will further help us to grow and recruit talented attorneys to Gunster.”

Jones Lang LaSalle Executive vice president Glenn H. Gregory and senior vice president Noël Steinfeld represented Foram. Jack Lowell of Flagler Real Estate Services and Gregory Katz of Studley represented Gunster. Brickell World Plaza is one of a few office properties in the world to earn LEED Platinum pre-certification from the US Green Building Council.
