ANTHEM, AZ-UPDATE-Regency Centers, a REIT headquartered in Jacksonville, FL, ended its decade-long hold of the 113,293-square-foot Anthem Marketplace, selling it to Whitestone REIT for $23 million. Jan Fincham and Patrick Dempsey of Lee & Associates brokered the transaction between the seller and Houston buyer.
Dempsey tells GlobeSt.com that Regency acquired the asset at 3655 W. Anthem Way in 2003 from Pederson Group. He adds that he and colleague Fincham had negotiated that transaction as well.
