MIAMI—The Related Group has announced its latest condo project. Related is building Baltus House in partnership with Strategic Properties in Miami.
According to the companies, more than 50% of the new Miami condo inventory was reserved within the first 30 days. Pricing starts at $199,900. The project will break ground in September.
Located at 4250 Biscayne Boulevard on the cusp of the Design District, the 15-story Baltus House will face Biscayne Bay and offer unobstructed water views to the east, overlooking the Bay Point neighborhood. Baltus House interiors will offer a contemporary Spanish flare.
In fact, the condo project takes its name from Baltus Collection, the high-end, contemporary Spanish furniture company that will design interiors and furnishings for the project. Baltus House will feature 167 luxury condo units each to be sold with European-design kitchens, stainless steel appliances, carpet, and tile flooring.
According to Cranespotters.com, developers are proposing nearly 18,800 units across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties as of July 3. In Greater Downtown Miami, the Cranspotters.com Preconstruction Condo Projects Database reports more than 30 buildings with nearly 9,150 units are proposed for Greater Downtown Miami.
For its part, Related is proposing more than 2,300 new condo units in 13 towers, CondoVultures reports. That figure includes six projects with nearly 1,400 units that are already under construction.
