PALM BEACH, FL—There's plenty of moving and shaking this week in the commercial real estate ranks. For starters, Tom Brockwell, long-time partner at Crocker Partners, announced plans to depart the firm to focus on new opportunities.

“Tom has been integral to Crocker Partners' success for the past 20 years,” says Crocker managing partner Tom Crocker. “This is a bittersweet moment for all of us. He is a talented real estate professional with an acute business sense. Although I am sorry to see Tom leave, I have known for some time that he has wanted to venture out on his own. We fully expect our close association will continue in the future.”

Brockwell joined Crocker Partners in 1993 and has played a lead role in acquiring, managing and disposing of real estate with a value in excess of $4 billion. Most recently, he was responsible for managing all partnership business in Florida where the company owns and operates 4.3 million square feet, valued at more than $725 million. Going forward, partner Angelo Bianco will resume these responsibilities, with plans for continued aggressive expansion throughout the state.

Meanwhile, Colliers International Central Florida has hired Orlando's top retail landlord representation team. Genny Hall and Christin Jones are officially on board.

“Genny's and Christin's substantial institutional representation experience elevates Central Florida's already strong retail practice to a new level,” says Lee Arnold, chairman of Colliers International Tampa Bay, Central Florida and Southwest Florida. Hall and Jones both previously served as vice presidents at CNL Commercial Real Estate in Orlando, where they led CNL's Project Leasing platform.

Finally, Terri-lynn Mitchell has joined Cassidy Turley as senior vice president. Mitchell will lead Cassidy's operations in Florida, with responsibilities for business development and client relations for building management services.

Mitchell brings more than 20 years of industry experience to Cassidy. She has worked with market leaders such as Stiles, RREEF, and Means Knaus Partners, where she most recently was senior property manager and led management for trophy properties such as SunTrust Financial Centre, a 36-story, 527,000-square-foot class A office tower in Tampa's CBD.
