Mr. Nadibaidze will give apresentation of findings and recommendations related to buildingsand the real estate market in NYC in accordance with New York's80x50 initiative. The 80x50 initiative aims to reduce carbonemissions by 80 percent from 1990 levels, by the year 2050 ("80 by50"), and improve resilience to climate change in all the state'scommunities.

This session will offer the opportunity to learn about majorrecommendations, measures and potential regulations relating toreal estate and buildings, and also to provide the Mayor's officefocused, real-time feedback. Among the measures under considerationare: building energy efficiency and code changes; clean electricitygeneration and distributed generation, behavioral changes,financial solutions and valuation approaches, education, andothers.
