CHICAGO—Trammell Crow Company has just hired David Paino, a former project manager for Opus Design-Build, LLC, for their Midwest Business Unit as development manager. Paino will team with Vice President Jerry Ebert and help oversee the construction of four active development projects in Minneapolis and Chicago, as well as assisting in the pursuit of additional development projects throughout the Midwest.

The active developments are:

Paino “brings extensive experience in construction, project management and development across multiple product types to this new role, which will be beneficial to our Business Unit as we begin to pursue more development and investment opportunities,” says Grady Hamilton, principal and head of TCC's Midwest Business Unit.

Paino held several positions with Opus. Most recently, he managed projects and risk from conceptual planning through project closeout. His most notable projects include Arboretum Landmark Apartments, a 310-unit multi-family development in Lisle, IL, Burr Ridge Village Center, an 83-unit luxury condo mixed-use development in Burr Ridge, IL, Electrolux Home Products, a 491,000-square-foot distribution center improvement in Minooka, IL, and Capital Group Companies, a three-building office campus in Carmel, IN.
