CHARLOTTE—Hawthorne Retail Partners has nearly leased up its Charlotte Uptown project. Catalyst, the city's newest mixed-use development in the emerging Third Ward district, is almost 100% leased.
Catalyst sits at the corner of West Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and South Church Street. The 20,000-square-foot ground-level space offers a mix of retail and service amenities to residents of the 27-floor multifamily tower and daytime population and visitors in the Center City area. Tenants include Reebok CrossFit Charlotte-Uptown, Mellow Mushroom, and a national convenience store operator.
“These tenants add such significant amenity punch to the Uptown community with their service focus in a convenient location not only for Catalyst residents, but also to the business community as well as the hundreds of thousands of sports fans that pack the neighboring facilities,” says Ryan Preston, director of leasing at Hawthorne. “Our tenants will benefit from being just steps away from these year-round attractions.”
