ARLINGTON, VA-As we reported yesterday, a Shooshan affiliate and Brandywine Realty Trust are partnering to develop 4040 Wilson Blvd. All the pieces are in place, including the construction finance, except the anchor tenant.

At this moment, there is nothing pending, Kevin Shooshan tells GlobeSt.com. "Nothing we haven't told the market about, nothing in negotiations right now," he says.

Shooshan says the asking rates for the building will be between $52 to $56 per square foot.

4040 Wilson Blvd. will be a 20-story, 426, 900 square-foot office building. It is the final phase in Shooshan's eight-building, 2.25-million square foot mixed-use, Liberty Center complex that is located within walking distance of the Ballston Metro Station.

Brandywine and the Shooshan affiliate will each own a 50% stake in the project. Read more about the project in our earlier article, here.
