SAVANNAH, GA—Historic Savannah, GA will soon be home to a new luxury student housing project. The Hue, a loft-style, off-campus student housing community, is under development.
The Hue will offer an urban housing option for 446 Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) students next fall. The student housing community's prime location, which is next to several SCAD classroom buildings, offers residents quick access to the Bee Line, river waterfront, trolley, community gardens, bookstore, museum, and more. Some third- and fourth-floor units will even offer views of the Savannah River.
“We identified a real deficiency in purpose-built, off-campus student housing options for SCAD students,” says Bob McMahon, principal of Stonemont Financial Group, owner of the 213,500-square-foot student housing community. “The Hue will not only fill that void, but will also exceed student's expectations of college living.”
Located just across the street from SCAD's Alexander Hall, The Hue will offer one-bedroom studios, two-, three-, and four-bedroom suites and three-bedroom townhouses. Cable and high-speed WiFi will be free, and water and electricity are included with a cap.
Student housing amenities include a 25,000-gallon lounge pool, exterior decks, entertaining and semi-private gathering space, a fitness center, 24-hour clubhouse, business center and a resident gallery space. Residents will also have access to 3,600 square feet of ground floor retail and a 330-space, two-level parking garage, which includes visitor parking.
