MIAMI—International developer Swire Properties has hand picked a vice president to manage its commercial portfolio at the $1 billion-plus Brickell City Centre project.
Jolyon Culbertson is now hands on with the complex.

Culbertson will oversee all of the organizational set up, legal documentation, allocation of operations costs to various commercial assets and property management structure, and staffing on behalf of the commercial portfolio for the Brickell City Centre project. Swire selected its new commercial portfoilio executive from within. Culbertson previously served as vice president of retail leasing for the company.

“Throughout his 35-year career, Jolyon has proven himself to be a dedicated professional who understands the intricacies of commercial real estate development,” says Steven Owens, president of Swire. “His new appointment allows us to streamline operations which are critical when building a project the magnitude of Brickell City Centre.”

Phase one of the billion dollar Brickell City Centre project is under construction in the heart of Miami's Brickell district. When finished in 2015, the first phase will include a luxury shopping center, two residential towers, EAST, Miami by Swire Hotels, serviced apartments, wellness center and Class-A offices.
