WASHINGTON, DC-CBRE has tapped Joseph Wallace to fill a newly created position at the company: Senior Managing Director, Occupier Services Leader. Wallace will oversee CBRE's tenant rep practice in the Washington-Baltimore region.
John Germano, executive managing director of CBRE, says the new role and Wallace's addition to the team "represents a new way of thinking when it comes to how we serve our clients today. As the needs of our tenant clients continue to evolve, we are focused on enhancing the integration of our full range of services to ensure we're meeting their needs both today and in the future,” he said in a prepared statement.
Prior to joining CBRE, Wallace was CEO of the Preferred Group, LLC, a privately held local serviced office provider, which he co-founded. Preferred Group operated 36 business centers in the US, eventually becoming the fourth largest provider of serviced offices in the country. Wallace also was president of Preferred Office Network, a national provider of flexible space office solutions to multi-market corporate clients.
Also on Wallace's CV: he was EVP and COO of HQ Global Workplaces and senior managing director at CBRE's Dallas office. He was also VP at CarrAmerica Realty Corp.
