GERMANTOWNM TN-The University of Tennessee Multispecialty Center here has been sold for $22.5 million to Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare Hospitals.
The non-profit health agency acquired the 116,865-square-foot medical office building at 7945 Wolf River Parkway from UT Medical Group Inc., according to the Memphis Business Journal. Information on the transaction came from public records filed with the Shelby County Register of Deeds.
Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare is an integrated, not-for-profit healthcare delivery system based in Memphis. According to its website, the organization's eight-hospital system includes home health services, outpatient surgery centers, minor medical centers, diagnostic centers, sleep centers and a hospice residence.
