MIAMI—Starwood Capital Group and LeFrak have launched a residential sales campaign for 1 Hotel & Homes South Beach. The project is on track for a 2014 opening.
Located on Collins Avenue between 23rd and 24th Streets, 1 Hotel & Homes South Beach was recently introduced in tandem with the unveiling of the new 1 Hotel brand conceived by Starwood chairman and CEO Barry Sternlicht, founder and former chairman and CEO of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide and creator of the W Hotels and St. Regis brands. The site was home to The Gansevoort South.
“We will offer a new, improved way of living to eco-conscious residents who will have to sacrifice nothing,” says Sternlicht. “Though completely private, with a separate porte cochere and lobby, 1 owners will have full access and share all the services and amenities of the adjacent 1 Hotel.”
The luxury hotel and condo property borders the Atlantic Ocean with 600 linear feet of beachfront. 1 Hotel & Homes South Beach will offer an original design and lifestyle that celebrates nature and the beach, surf, and sun of Miami Beach. Miami-based Fortune International will oversee the sales and marketing of the residences, which is on track for a 2014 opening.
Brazilian designer Debora Aguiar leads the interior design of the residential public spaces and 161 units available in one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom layouts, as well as penthouses, ranging in size from 830 to 4,280 square-feet. Each resident has a separate porte-cochere entrance, hotel and resort amenities including four swimming pools, a full-service health club and spa. There are also several onsite dining options. Residential units range from $1.2 million to more than $12.8 million.
