WASHINGTON, DC-Clarion Partners has sold the 919 18th St. NW office building here to Epic LLC, the US affiliate of London-based Epic UK Ltd. for $52.7 million.
Epic's new 10-story downtown office property is located near Farragut Square and totals approximately 106,000 square feet. Epic paid approximately $13 million more than Clarion did eight years ago, but acquired the building free and clear of debt, according to the Washington Business Journal.
The building is currently 94% leased. HFF brokers Jim Meisel, Dek Potts, Andrew Weir and Stephen Conley represented Clarion in the sales transaction. See story in the Washington Business Journal.
