MIAMI-An affiliate of Coconut Grove-based Terra Group has purchased the Howard Johnson Plaza hotel on Miami Beach for $65 million.
The 230-room hotel at 8701 Collins Ave. was sold by Dezer Properties. Terra Group will own and manage the hotel.
Terra Group COO and President David Martin states, “This is a great investment and addition to our growing portfolio. We look forward to the redevelopment of the surrounding Miami Beach, Surfside and Bal Harbour neighborhoods.” See story in the South Florida Business Journal.
