MIAMI—The Isla Del Sol Shoppers Village has traded hands. Isla Del Sol Shoppers Village, LLC, a private, Clearwater, FL-based investment group, purchased the retail asset for $3.95 million from EBK Properties.

Located at 5901 Sun Boulevard in Saint Petersburg, the retail center was 79% occupied at the time of the sale. CBRE represented the owner.

“Isla Del Sol Shoppers Village has long been a preferred destination for retailers and office users serving the nearby beach and waterfront communities,” says CBRE senior vice president Mark Shellabarger. “The buyer was attracted to the investment property because of its unique, inimitable location, stable mix of long-term tenants, and upside potential.”

Built in 1981, Isla Del Sol Shoppers Village is a 46,788-square-foot, two-story retail and office complex located in the planned, island community of Isla Del Sol in St. Petersburg. Isla Del Sol Shoppers Village is leased to 20 tenants, including Regions Bank, Subway, Patchington women's clothing store, The Boardwalk restaurant, and Tokyo Bay restaurant.

Isla Del Sol is a 350-acre development featuring waterfront condominiums and villas, a yacht and country club with an 18-hole golf course. Isla Del Sol Shoppers Village, the only retail and office property on the island.

Isla Del Sol Shoppers Village is located at the intersection of the Pinellas Bayway and the Pinellas Bayway South. That is the crossroads of access to the communities of Isla Del Sol, St. Petersburg Beach, and Tierra Verde.
