CHICAGO—The Marquette Companies of Naperville recently celebrated its 30-year anniversary, and after another solid year of growth, CEO Nick Ryan has decided to give up the title of president and promote several of the firm's insiders, allowing them to take on more responsibility.

“This has been a very exciting year for The Marquette Companies in terms of acquisitions and new development, but it has also been a year of transition,” says Ryan. “We've grown tremendously, which we owe in large part to our leadership team. And as we start 2014, we're streamlining our approach across all areas of The Marquette Companies with our leadership team taking on new roles.”

Marquette began developing its first project in Naperville in 1983. Since then, it has become one of the largest apartment developers in the metro area. Earlier this year, the firm broke ground on Catalyst, a 19-story tower in the West Loop which will have 223 apartments.
