MIAMI—Plaza Construction was awarded the construction contract and has broken ground on The Related Group's $118 million, 42-story Icon Bay. The waterfront condominium is in the heart of Miami's Biscayne Corridor within minutes of the Design District, Wynwood Arts District, and Midtown.  

Designed by Arquitectonica, the 750,000-square-foot Icon Bay is the latest of Related's flagship line of premium luxury condominiums. Located at 460 NE 28th Street, the 200 high-end condos will feature private elevator access and direct views of Biscayne Bay with penthouses in the top floors. Icon Bay will also feature amenities such as a waterfront pool deck and infinity pool, fitness center and spa, poolside clubroom and lounge, professionally managed tennis courts, and a bay front park and sculpture gardens.

Plaza is also currently constructing Related's $105 million, 42-story Millecento Residences by Pininfarina, located in Miami's Brickell neighborhood at 1100 S. Miami Avenue. Plaza has earned the trust of Related and other contractors, winning the Contractor of the Year 2013 Award from the American Institute of Architects Miami Chapter.

Plaza also constructed W South Beach hotel, the 67-story Marquis and Canyon Ranch North Tower and the multimillion-dollar Dadeland Mall Kendall Wing Expansion under its contract with Simon Property Group. Plaza is currently constructing: 1 Hotel & Homes South Beach, a $100 million beachfront redevelopment by The LeFrak Organization, Starwood Capital Group and Invesco Ltd. and NINE at Mary Brickell Village, a luxurious 34-story, 390-unit condominium tower at 999 SW 1st Avenue in Miami.
