SALT LAKE CITY-CBRE says two new tenants have signed leases at I-80 Corporate Center, bringing the building's occupancy to 100%.
Located at 240 East Morris Ave. in Salt Lake City, I-80 Corporate Center offers high visibility from the Interstate—nearly 115,000 cars pass by the building in an average day. Both the interior and exterior of the building were recently renovated; in 2012 the renovation process was completed. A total of 61,000 square feet, the building is now 100% occupied.
Tab Cornelison and Nadia Letey, of CBRE's Salt Lake City office represented the landlord, the Boyer Company, in the transactions.
“There is a great takeaway here.” said Tab Cornelison, SVP at CBRE. “That takeaway is that renovations pay off. When building owners take the time to tailor space to meet the needs of the market, they get results. The Boyer Company did exactly that, and now they have a fully occupied building.”
The Boyer Company develops and manages its own portfolio as well as properties for other corporate clients. It has developed over 30 million square feet of commercial space since 1972 with over $500 million of development in progress.
