RALEIGH, NC-Lifetime Fitness has finalized the purchase of a driving range for its planned facility in North Raleigh.

An affiliate of the Chanhassen, MN-based company acquired 26 acres at the former Falls of Neuse Driving Range for $5 million, according to the Triangle Business Journal.

The firm is planning to build a 112,000-square-foot facility and a 3,000-square-foot cabana at the site. The firm also acquired a 2.5-acre site adjacent to the property.

Lifetime Fitness has three locations in the Triangle area, including smaller clubs at Six Forks Road, at the Plantation Point shopping center off of Capital Boulevard in north Raleigh and in Apex. See story in the Triangle Business Journal.
