DALLAS – Waypoint Residential, an apartment investment firm, appointed two new senior level executives to their expanding team.
In Dallas, Holland Smith joins as the firm's new chief investment officer and, in Greenwich, Conn., Jeremy Pemberton joins as a new capital markets managing director.
Smith will direct all of Waypoint Residential's future acquisitions. He previously was a partner at Fowler Property Acquisitions where he was responsible for sourcing multifamily investments. Prior to that, Smith spent seven years with the acquisitions team at Invesco Realty Advisors.
Pemberton will oversee capital markets activities and most recently served as the president/CEO of Avatas Capital, a private real estate firm that he founded in 2009. Prior to this, Pemberton served as a managing director for the Americas region at Babcock & Brown. Pemberton has successfully completed and managed approximately $12 billion of transactions involving every commercial real estate asset class.
Waypoint Residential is a private investment and management firm that acquires and operates multifamily communities throughout the Sunbelt. The firm owns and manages approximately 10,000 apartment units across seven states.
