WASHINGTON, DC-One of the first Walmart stores in the district has reportedly changed hands.
The JBG Co. has sold 77 H St. NW, a mixed-use property that includes a 73,000-square-foot Walmart store, to Clarion Partners, according to the Washington Business Journal. No purchase price for the property that also includes additional retail and residential space was reported.
JBG retained Cassidy Turley to market the property in July, about six months before the Walmart store first opened its doors. The Walmart, store at H Street, as well as a store on Georgia Avenue, opened last month in the district. See story in the Washington Business Journal.
