WASHINGTON, DC-Last week we reported (via the Washington Business Journal) that JBG Cos. sold one of the first Walmart stores in the District.

Sources told reporters that the company sold the property to Clarion Partners. A JBG spokesman confirmed the transaction to GlobeSt.com without naming the seller. "…its sale represents a successful transaction for both companies," he says. "77 H is a special residential and retail property with outstanding architecture that's been welcomed by both neighbors and city officials."

Clarion Partners did not return a call to GlobeSt.com.
