SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FL-GSF Acquisition, an entity managed by The Trump Group, has acquired a majority of the timeshare condominium units at the Golden Strand Ocean Villa Resort here.
The Aventura-based firm paid $28.3 million to seller Amphitheater LLC for 134 of the 158 units at the property located at 17901 Collins Ave., according to the South Florida Business Journal. Chicago-based Amphitheater provided more than $19 million in financing in connection with the sales deal.
The Trump Group, co-founded by Jules Trump and Edmond Trump, are best known in the region for developing Williams Island. See story in the South Florida Business Journal.
