FORT WORTH— Blackmon Mooring, Fort Worth-based cleaning and disaster restoration company, purchased a building and adjacent acreage in Haltom City. Blackmon Mooring will relocate their headquarters and operations hub to the two-story, 56,666-square-foot flex building in northeast Fort Worth.

The property, formerly the headquarters of Progressive Concepts Inc., sits on six acres at 5718 Airport Freeway and an additional 6.9-acre tract at 5722 Airport Freeway in Haltom City. Blackmon Mooring will gain 400 linear feet of freeway frontage and expansion opportunities.

Nick Talley, vice president in Fort Worth of Dallas-based Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services represented the seller, Progressive Concepts Inc., in the transaction.

"I think it's an excellent move for Blackmon Mooring. It provides them with retail exposure and growth for the company," says Talley.

The move from their downtown Fort Worth location at 308 Arthur St. was prompted by the Trinity River Vision, a redevelopment plan to provide not only needed flood protection along the Trinity River  but it also adds amenities for surrounding communities, and improve infrastructure.

The property features 24,000 square feet of office space, 3,000 square feet of retail/showroom space, 30,000 square feet of warehouse space and one acre of paved surface parking.

Leland Prowse and Alex Bryant of Transwestern Dallas represented the buyer.
