EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ-In an effort to strengthen its industrial management business, Cushman & Wakefield Inc. has hired Amy Pastor, formerly of Prologis Inc., as its industrial portfolio manager.

Pastor, 38, of Saddle River, NJ, will join the brokerage firm's Corporate Occupier and Investor Services team, according to The Record. Pastor was a property manager with San Francisco-based industrial development firm Prologis. She worked in Denver and North Jersey for the firm and was responsible for a portfolio of 4 million square feet in 44 warehouse/distribution and light-manufacturing buildings.

Cushman is looking to expand its industrial portfolio in New Jersey. "We have millions of square feet under management in industrial properties nationwide, and New Jersey is just one market where we really see a lot of opportunities to grow in. So that's why we're starting to focus on it now," Pastor says. See story in The Record.
