SECAUCUS, NJ-Glass supplier C.R. Laurence Co. has acquired a 146,000-square-foot building here for $18 million in an expansion and relocation of operations here.
The firm will shift operations from 211 County Ave. in Secaucus to 60-70 Seaview Drive, according to Cushman & Wakefield Inc., which represented C.R. Laurence and seller Principal Real Estate Investors in the transaction.
The new facility is an expansion of 100,000 square feet from its County Avenue facility, which is now on the market for sale, according to The Record.
"The requirement was for a larger facility to allow the company to expand their product line," states Stephen Elman of Cushman & Wakefield. "The company also wanted to be in close proximity to their existing facility because many of their customers pick their orders up from their distribution center." See story in The Record.
