SECAUCUS, NJ-The former Panasonic headquarters complex on Meadowlands Parkway here is being torn down.
The firm relocated its headquarters operations to Newark last September. The company's headquarters buildings and warehouse space are being demolished by construction firm Highground Industrial of Mahwah, according to The Jersey Journal.
The buildings total 941,000 square feet, approximately half of which is office space. Panasonic rented space at the 40-acre campus from Hartz Mountain Industries for about 30 years. See story in The Jersey Journal.
