ST. PETERSBURG, FL-The ownership of the Tyrone Crossing office building here has selected Avison Young Tampa as the exclusive property management agent for the property.

Avison Young Tampa Principal Michael Vullis will oversee the management of the five-story 90,000-square-foot office building at 1700 66th St. on behalf of the ownership, Compass Rock. In addition to office space, the building also features a number of ground floor retail spaces as well.

The Toronto-based commercial real estate services firm reports the Tampa Bay area had the largest sum of positive absorption in Florida in 2013 due to a large number of expansions and new to market tenants.

"We are looking forward to working closely with our client to strengthen the value of this asset," Vullis states. "Pinellas County is a prime location because its submarkets have the ability to provide adequate space to larger companies. Much more than just additional parking, Tyrone Crossings offers clients the added amenities and services they are looking for and expect."
