WASHINGTON, DC-Hines Interests LP has taken occupancy of its new offices at its $700-million CityCenterDC development here.
The developer of CityCenterDC has leased 20,000 square feet in the new Two CityCenter office building at 800 10th St. NW. The firm is the first official office occupant at two office buildings at CityCenterDC that are now 96% leased, according to the Washington Business Journal.
Other tenants at the office component of CityCenterDC include Covington & Burling LLP, the American Hospital Association and Qatar Foundation International, which are all expected to move into their space at the development later this year.
The first phase of CityCenterDC, being developed on the grounds of the old convention center, will also include 216 residential condo units, approximately 460 apartments and more than 270,000 square feet of retail space. See story in the Washington Business Journal.
