AUSTIN, TX—Local fast casual restaurant VERTS, is adding three more Austin-area locations, bringing its storefront count to 10. In 2014, VERTS plans to open 13 new locations, including expansions into Dallas and Houston, according to CBRE which is the exclusive rep for the chain.

The newest location at 6301 West Parmer Lane in North Austin held its grand opening Feb. 8. Following closely behind, locations in Round Rock and Cedar Park will open in the next two months.

In Houston, leases are signed at Washington Heights, Jersey Village's Vintage Marketplace, River Oaks Plaza and Cyfair Town Center, with more on the way. The first Dallas-area location will open at Jellico Square in Southlake.

VERTS is built around Döner Kebap, Germany's favorite street food, and is one of the first to bring authentic Döner Kebap to the United States.

"We strategically chose our new locations based on several factors, including area demographics, fellow tenants located in the shopping centers, and size of the available space," said Dominik Stein, co-founder.

"We made the decision to move forward with this rapid expansion around and outside of Austin to test VERTS in new markets and help us learn and plan for an eventual national expansion," added Michael Heyne, co-founder.

The storefront spaces are designed by Austin architect Michael Hsu and have a clean and modern look, featuring a mix of wood, steel and concrete.

CBRE is the exclusive tenant representative for the chain throughout Texas. John Heffington, with CBRE in Austin, is the master broker, with local representation in Houston from Matt Parsons, and in Dallas from Andrew Wiley and Michael Meaden.

"CBRE is pleased to help VERTS' continued expansion throughout Texas. Its unique product and excellent customer experience will be an excellent addition to Dallas and Houston," said Heffington.
