SHIRLINGTON, VA-Easterly Partners of Washington, DC has acquired the Randolph Square office building here anchored by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for $56.3 million.

Easterly acquired the Arlington County-based office property from Invesco Real Estate. The deal was brokered by Cassidy Turley, according to the Washington Business Journal. The U.S. Patent office has a lease at the building that runs through 2019.

Invesco acquired the nine-story Randolph Square building located at 2800 Randolph St. in 2010 for $47.9 million from Monument Realty LLC and Transwestern Investment Co.

The transaction marks Easterly's entrance into the Arlington County market. The firm focuses on the acquisition, leasing and management of properties leased to federal government agencies. See story in the Washington Business Journal.
