WASHINGTON, DC—Mercer is taking 56,460-square feet at Washington Square, a CBD office located at 1050 Connecticut Ave., NW. Mercer was represented by Randolph C. Harrell at CBRE and the landlord was represented by Brian R. Raher of the Washington office and Brian F. Tucker of the Virginia office of Cushman and Wakefield.
The twelve-story, 1-million-square foot building is owned by Lerner Enterprises and the Tower Cos. The two companies recently completed a $14-million dollar renovation that added four a turn-key flexible office spaces dubbed Ultimate Suites. The suites include high-end touches, the owners say, such as wood, stone and decorative accents and can be as large as 7,300 square feet. All together there is as much as 103,000 square feet still available in the building.
Other tenants include the American Bar Association, Baker Hostetler, Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher The Art of Shaving, SARAR, Morton's – The Steakhouse, Au Bon Pain, Lou Lou Boutique, Starbucks and Victoria's Secret.
